A PAC (Presidential Advisory Council) is a group of about a dozen CEO members who serve as a board of advisors for one another - A "mastermind" group.

About 150 CEO Club members participate in a PAC. PAC members must be members of the CEO Club. PAC members must sign mutual confidentiality agreements, agree to share detailed financial information, and agree not to miss more than two consecutive meetings. They also must be in control of their company and need to have a minimum of 25 employees with at least $2 million in annual sales.

Sounding out issues or decisions with a knowledgeable, yet not directly involved, peer group can significantly improve the odds of success.

The group focuses on the host company's biggest problem or opportunities. The council then offers solutions and advice. A mastermind occurs at the end of each session as each member shares their ideas to aid the host. This is audio-taped for the host to utilize as a reference. Confidentiality agreements are signed due to the sharing of financial information. Meetings include recaps and current developments by the council members present.

A PAC meets eight times annually, at each member's business. Each meeting usually goes from 10am to 5pm.

The Super PAC is for larger companies and operates on an international basis. Minimum company size is $10 million in annual sales. Super PACs meet for three-day weekends three times a year. Annual fees are $10,000 for two people. All Super PAC members receive all the benefits of a full CEO Club member.

Mark anticipates the JOBS movie to premier in February and has invited all of us to the premiers currently planned for NY, LA, Palo Alto and possibly Dallas. It should be fun and CEO CLUBS will support his efforts worldwide. Our video will be called "The making of the Steve Jobs movie", and it will take me forever to shrink it as I enjoyed every moment of the dialogue.

Undoubtedly, the highlight will be the moment Steve Jobs turned over in his grave as we shared my antique 1980 audio recorder. It will surely be a highlight.

I am asking Mark Hulme to come to Key West as our guest for an update as the /excitement/anticipation of the group was total.

The next Super PAC is set for Martin Luther King weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 18, 19, 20th, 2013. It will be in Sunny Key West, Florida. We offer a thank you to Bob Posten for helping make the arrangements.

We will be sleeping at the Pier House in an upgraded room. There are only twenty of these rooms available at the Pier House. There are other room choices but these are a little better as part of CEO CLUB deal.

The room rate is $400 per night for two but these are upgraded rooms. We will have Friday night dinner at Pier House.

The Saturday night dinner will be a few minutes away at Roof Top Caf� at 308 Front Street. This restaurant has a clear view of the area and as everyone applauds sunset, we will join in with a glass of red wine. Key West in January is a 揾ot spot�, so reserve early, as every other good choice is booked.

Both of the two dynamic guests are now full members so a warm welcome to John Spargo and Jeff Layne.

On a sad personal note, I was able to walk ten blocks before Santa Fe and suddenly in Santa Fe, I was hurting on a one block walk. While several of us anticipated my problem was the altitude, sadly I discovered the hip I received was recalled on July 12, 2012.

I am finding out more now but the news is not very good as this type hip has a short life.

While I am still thrilled to be alive, I am not feeling like a �lucky-boy�.
